Calcite with Cubic Fluorite Tower
While the term 'unique' is overused, this tower really is quite unique.
It looks like an ancient tower being taken over by time. The calcite is pretty druzy and glows pink under UV.
The most interesting part, to me, are the clear cubic fluorite crystals located in a few spots throughout the tower. They are pretty transparent allowing you to see straight through them to the calcite that they have grown on. I have found five, maybe you can find more :) It is pretty fun to hunt them down and just to look at. Definitely one of my recent favorite finds.
It stands 3.8 inches tall with a 1.4 by 1.4 inch base and weighs 117 grams (4.12 ounces).
