Astrophyllite and Garnet Sphere
This sphere is a really nice combination of the deep rich purple red of garnet combined with the blue and gold 'fireworks' effect of the astrophyllite. The surface area is nearly 50% garnet if I had to guess.
It is nicely polished and very smooth to the touch.
It weighs 257 grams ( 9 ounces ) and has a diameter of 2.1 inches.
The sphere comes with a free wooden sphere stand so it can be easily displayed as soon as you receive it :)
